Service Dog Training

Service dog training beings as soon as the dog arrives in your home. Training a service dog from a puppy takes at least 18 months or more. We do help owners train their own service dogs through our program, starting in our basic obedience/puppy classes and progressing through the CGC program while working on the specific service dog tasks that the handler requires. We also train dogs for people through www.midwestassistancedogs.org There are pro's and con's to each way of training a service dog, so we strive to help people choose the best way for their specific situation.
